A perch is a high place to live in, hang out in, or rest in. I want to be in a place where visions, ideas, inventions, imagination, and creativity will influence and change me... and then have a ripple effect and change my world bringing heaven to earth. I'm staying close to the source!

Guardians

In this abstract I get the sense of angels coming to keep watch over us.

Bije

This is Bije a beloved Bichon Frise' who is no longer in this world, but I'm sure he's running and playing in the next. 8"x10" oil on canvas, commissioned. I love the texture in his hair!

The Intercessor

The Intercessor, 18"x24" oil on canvas
I painted this during worship at my church this morning. It wasn't until after the service that 3 people separately told me what they saw. It all meshed. There on the left is the Intercessor (with red hair) speaking to the chaos and pushing it back. With the Intercessor is an eagle, a wing of a dove and another figure which is the Lord who has his arm around her shoulder looking outward also. One of the three who came with the interpretation named it the Intercessor. I agreed.

Henry

I finally scanned this painting of Sharon's family dog.  Henry is so handsome! 8"x10" oil on canvas.

Sunday Painting

I love to see artists create! Today at church two young ladies painted together on one large board. Painted and danced. Painted and danced.
Note to self: bring your camera with you.

I painted this last Sunday during worship. I started with the Hebrew word 'shalom'. Peace Abstract 20"x20" oil on canvas.

wow, can't believe I'm blogging!

Put this together this morning before work, so now it's after work. Well, here it goes...
I wanted to make it easier for me to share my art stuff. Not very diligent about sending out updates. I don't do a daily painting.... I probably won't blog every day, but it's here just in case I want to. Welcome to my world!
